DAISYSMILES ENTRY #4:
MY FIRST ANIMATION!
It fascinates me every time I watch an animated movie. The artistic capabilities of these individuals astound me with every 1 and 0 as it is transformed into a masterpiece.
As we sit and watch a 90-minute marvel of humanities technology, it can be hard to fathom all the time and energy it takes to create a single frame; let alone an entire feature length film.
On a dare from my friend and "unofficial" photographer, whose name is Shooter, I decided to try my hand at creating a short animation.
The first thing I needed was a computer, so I borrowed a friend's trusty HP laptop, which he's had since 2011 (knock-on-wood)
He had a program on there called "Anime Studio" which allowed him to make cartoons and other animations, so I decided to check it out.
I went to Barnes and Noble and sat down for several hours while I watched tutorials and learned how tedious and painstaking it is to try and create even the smallest of animations! However, if you work hard and put your mind to it, the outcome is totally worth it.
This is me after I finished my first animation...I know it's not much but I'm proud of it...so check it out!
If you get a chance you should try your hand at creating your own animations!
